I know how that feels, because I’ve lived it. Over my 25+ year career, I’ve run 3 corporations employing hundreds of staff, led multi-million- and billion-dollar operations, raised $20M in funding for a start-up, and turned near-collapsing businesses into record profit growth.
But I’ve also experienced the pain of being fired due to M&A restructuring. I’ve faced the darkness of a broken marriage, and more.
So I know both the spotlight of success and the loneliness of failure, and they’ve taught me what real leadership requires: clarity under pressure, courage in uncertainty, and the wisdom to create possibilities where others see none. Clients and peers call me “the guy you want in the room when everything’s on the line.”
I’m Dr. Edward Ho, a Harvard-trained Strategist and a Certified Management Accountant. I see both the big picture and the fine details.
I’m the advisor who helps leaders cut through the politics, the complexities and the doubts, supporting them to make confident, sound decisions when it matters most.
In the first 12 years of my career, I was promoted 8 times, rising from Executive Assistant to COO and eventually CEO.
Along the way, I led some very different kinds of businesses as a CEO and COO, including 2 global trust and corporate services firms, a multi-million-dollar medical beauty chain, a tech start-up that raised $20M in just 6 months, a multi-billion-dollar casino operation serving VVIP clients, and a cross-border advisory firm working in 70 industries across 20+ jurisdictions. Each role pushed me to adapt fast, lead under pressure, and deliver results in environments where the stakes were high.
I’ve had the privilege of working across finance, advisory, hospitality, retail, and tech, experiences that shaped how I see and solve complex challenges. I also served as the Secretary-General and Chair of Judges of the Forbes China ESG Innovation Awards (2023/2024), and now lead the Asia CEO Community as the President of its Canada Chapter, connecting with over 25,000 CEOs worldwide.
Wherever I go, my role is the same: helping C-suite and founders turn uncertainty into clarity, and clarity into action.

As a former competitive athlete in soccer, tennis, and swimming, I continue to challenge myself outside of work. I practice meditation regularly and am a proud father of five.
